Synopsis:
Eleven year old Bellyboy is ridiculed by his peers for being overweight and is the laughing stock of his school. His parents want to slim him down at any cost, but Bellyboy has his own secret way of relieving the pressures and negative emotions of his classmates and parents. He tells no one about his method of coping until he finally decides to tell a female friend of his, whom he is also infatuated with. Twist and Blood tells the story of how it is hard to open up to people and how little is necessary to lose confidence in a person.
Director:

Born in 1984 in Wroclaw, Poland, Czekaj is a student at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. He holds a certificate at the Radio and Television Department under Krzysztof Kieslowski’s name at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. He also holds a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and holds several honors among active and PhD students at the University of Silesia.
