I Saw Your Sister Yesterday

Synopsis:
Women in this world face numerous restrictions created from our social environment, such as prejudice, sexism and social norm. In I Saw Your Sister Yesterday, a woman suffers from these oppressions without anyone knowing her pain. Finally, her pains become herself and she returns to the society.
Director:

Mina Park is an experimental filmmaker born in South Korea. She studied visual communication design at Kookmin University in Korea. In 2005, she came to the U.S to learn more about film languages and enriching experiences. At CalArts, she studied film and video for her undergraduate and experimental animation for her masters. She introduced her films at Cannes Short Film Corner, Baltimore Women’s Festival, Hiroshima Animation Festival and many others. Now, she is teaching children in the CalArts Community Arts Partnership and preparing her thesis project.
