Synopsis:

When the body dies, the brain stays active for a few minutes before all of the blood drains from it. The question that then arises is; what does the brain think about during these final moments? As we know, dreams can feel like ages but only happen in minutes. If this is true, then these final moments might go on for what seems like a lifetime. This experimental film/electro-acoustic piece, Far From Asleep, offers a glimpse into what might be going on inside the mind during this extraordinary time.
