dir. David Alvarado

Synopsis:
Brain injury patients seem to provide an ongoing example of the concept that anything by which we can define ourselves is basically part of the complex physiological and neurological makeup between our ears. When this physical matter gets rearranged through brain injury, we ourselves undergo a rearrangement. Watch as the film weaves the lives of three different brain injury patients and shows an amazing range of recovery and inability to recover. Sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, this film often leaves a strong impression on the viewer… and many more questions about who we all are if not our mind’s dependence on the body.
