A little chicken is late to school, so she devises the perfect excuse to get herself off the hook.
Director:
Sijia Luo is a MFA student in animation in the Film Department at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She got her BFA at Beijing Film Academy in China with the same major. So far, five of her comic stories have been published in China by the Chinese Art & Publication Group, Beijing Publication House Group, and Shanghai Animation and Film Studio. Additionally, she is also a script writer for comics and animations. She was the main script writer for an animated movie called Full House Laughter in China at 2006-2007. Her own short animated film Kidnap has been screened in Poland, Ukraine, France, Australia, Canada, UK, China and USA in a lot festivals and got some awards. Sijia focuses on story telling when she creates a film, and has excellent hand painting skills of water color and gouache.
