Produced for only $226, this film is based on three stream-of-consciousness short stories
written by the filmmaker; sketches of people he grew up with in Montreal during the
turbulent eighties. Besides attending film school, John L’Ecuyer has published several
short stories, and has received a grant from the Toronto Arts Council to complete a novel entitled,
” ReadFastUseOnceAndDestroy. John’s first film, Lowlife , was a finalist in the
1993 UFVA Student Film and Video Festival.
