Based on the diary of a young Japanese woman who had to have an abortion in America,
Last Week of Summer ‘92 covers a seven day period, from the discovery of pregnancy to
the day of the abortion. Ching-Ching Ip is has produced and directed several short films.
Last Week of Summer ‘92 was awarded the Silver Seal at the IAC International Film &
Video Competition, and has been screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival
and the Women in the Director’s Chair Film & Video Festival, among others.
