Shot on mini-dv, “Freestyle” is a documentary about a new dog sport: Musical Canine Freestyle, or dancing with dogs. The film focuses on one of the many freestyle organizations worldwide: The World Canine Freestyle Organization and its founder, Patie Ventre, who dreams that Freestle may one day become an Olympic sport.
