Frequent Flyers

Frequent Flyers is a video reflection of an out of body experience and a premonition which questions the intemalization of factually based knowledge, and how that undermines the authority, and confidence, of direct knowing’. Using psychic readings recorded in upstate New York, the video is a meditation on a search for a personal acceptance of these phenomena (out of body experiences and premonitions) and the
acknowledgement of my personal mental dialogue that ultimately disables my liberation. Small symbolic objects spin against a black background in syncopation with each of the psychics’ voices. The tape is 07:20 minutes long and loops indefinitely when projected.
