Babcha by Micky Zilbershtein

Babcha by Micky Zilbershtein, Tel Aviv University, 16mm, 28 minutes, Narrative

Dror spends every weekend babysitting his grandmother, Babcha. Babcha is a Holocaust survivor haunted by anxiety and guilt. Dror is the third generation, a bitter and sharp-tongued copy writer. With the help of black humor, they both try to cope but don’t really succeed. The scars are too deep to ever be erased, not in Dror’s time, definitely not in Babcha’s.
