Jump explores the filmmaker’s decision to refuse radiation therapy for a metastasized cancer. Using optically printed black and white, tinted, scratched, bleached and color film, the filmmaker attempts to reveal the complexities of dealing with a cancer diagnosis while addressing the links between cure and the possible cause – exposure to radioactivity from above ground nuclear testing during the late 1950’s and 60’s.
