Audrea Renee Topps, Howard University 16mm, 31 minutes Second Prize Narrative
A young girl’s world is so filled with violence and hatred that she retreats into a world of her own making. Audrea Renee Topps , a native of Washington, DC, worked extensively in theater and dance while attending The College of William and Mary. Her film RAW INTENSITY was awarded the Best Student Work at the 1991 Prized Pieces Film and Video Competition. HARD CANDY was a regional finalist in this year’s Student Academy Awards. She is currently working as an assistant editor in Los Angeles, and researching a feature project.
