The Story of Alice, a young Aboriginal girl who absorbs the fear and shame of her adoptive white parents. Anne Pratten is an aboriginal woman who was adopted by a white family. She began her training in film and video at the Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. Terra Nullius is her first film, and is also the first film by an aboriginal person to come out of the Australian Film School in the 20 years of its existence.
